Comment | An excellent gig by Sebadoh, from the "The Sebadoh" album tour. "Cliche" is interesting because the band just flat-out abandoned it mid-song. Afterwards, Lou says to the crowd "Don't even think it, OK?" Then, right before the next song "Homemade", he says "Are we trying hard enough for you, Chicago?" in a nice sarcastic voice. After the gig, Lou told me how he's had problems with Chicago crowds in the past (he doesn't like playing here for whatever reason), and I suspect that's what he was referring to by his choice comments. |
