Tech Note | Known issues: The sound of these disks was remarkably flat; I have cleaned them up and re-equalized, but they are still only so-so. They are significantly better than what came to me, however. I hope this teases out a better lineage for this excellent show. The cut in drums is pretty severe; everything after the first 0:30 or so is missing. It is also uncertain how much of space is missing, but it's probably not much. (If drums were present in its entirety, this show would require three disks.) Problems during space in the right channel, 2:52 - 4:26. It may be that nothing is going on, since there are faint echoes of the left channel during this time, or it may be that the channel is lost. ---------- Thanks to Johnny Venus for the disks. Seeded by Peter Braverman (braverman@earthlink.net), February 2003. Another installment of The Music Never Stopped Project.llment of The Music Never Stopped Project. |
