Notes:
Part five in a continuing series of JHE shows from 1968.
Two more shows, this time both from the masters. The Montreal show is a high powered performance and a lovely audience recording as well given the type of equipment the band were using (no mikes on the drums and none of the benefits of a modern PA) and the primitive recording gear used by the taper. Vocals are a little low but all in all an enjoyable ride.
The Miami show tracks here are direct from the master SB tape and clear as the proverbial bell.
NB: The first show here is an audience recording so please don't download it if you are not prepared to put up with it's rough and ready nature. However audience recordings, even of the vintage, can convey a great deal more of the atmosphere of the actual show than some soundboard recordings. If you just want the Soundboard Miami tracks then please download but give the Montreal show a hearing as well :)
