| Tech Note | The lengthy Jam #2 has a patch of lesser quality somewhere in the middle, which keeps it from getting an "A" for sound quality, but it's still quite listenable. After that it goes back to the better quality heard earlier. This is a really great jazz-rock jam session(s), reminding me of the stuff Miles Davis was doing around that time. It's a shame none of this ever resulted in a full album or that Jimi didn't live to pursue this new direction further. |
