Notes:
Many thanks go out to JasonRed for the 1st generation source tape. No info is known on the taping rig other than it was analog. Also the venue of the show is unknown. The tape was only labeled August 1995, so I had to figure out the date. During the show David Vincent asks the crowd if any of them saw Weezer earlier that night. Through some research I found that Weezer played the Avalon on August 4th. Also later in the show David thanks the crowd for coming out on a Wednesday Night to the show. August 4th was a Wednesday in 1995 so that further confirmed the date. Since the source tape was 1st gen I didn't feel it needed any Noise Reduction and also no EQ was performed. Basically its a raw transfer of the tape with some minor edits. The taper used a 100 min tape for the show, but the one I recieved was a 90. Luckily the when the taper made the dub he rewound a bit so the two sides overlap. All I had to do was splice them together. The splice takes place during the intro to Ceaser's Palace. I spliced it at the exact sample they overlapped so I don't think its audible. There is a tape flip before Rapture and a few seconds of the spoken intro are cut. I faded the cut to make it smoother. Other than that this is the complete show. Sound quality is good for a noisy death metal show. It starts off a little rocky but improves as the show goes on. I'd say its a solid B+ overall. -Nepenthes
