Note | I was as determined to capture this show as the Security and Ushers were that I wouldn't.
About 20min into the first set I was told to shut down. I pulled the stand and hand held for the rest of the set. After a brief conversation with Security during the break I put the mics back on the stand and held it head high on the back of the seat in front of me. Various conversations with the Ushers may be heard insisting that I would be removed from the venue, but the tape still rolled. By the end of the show I had inched up to about 9ft., still holding the stand on the seat back in front of me. I think you will agree it was worth it! |
