Comment | This was Tony McCaroll's last gig with Oasis, the first ever public performance of Don't Look Back In Anger, and the bands largest gig to date at that stage in their career. Noel introduces DLBIA as a new song that he only "wrote on Tuesday". The lyrics and melody are a bit different from the version that appeared on WTSMG (in fact he had only written one verse at this stage) and was dedicated that night to Paul Mathur (journalist and friend of the band who wrote the Oasis Biography "Take Me Away"). There's also a very unique moment where Bonehead introduces "Slide Away"... Known bootlegs: "Another Place to Pray" |
