Note | REVIEW
This was released as a boot CD, and is a decent one since they play the longer encore set with "Road Runner" & "No Fun". The whole show is also on video. John starts off with "Welcome to Paris" which makes it easy to peg if you only have a taped version of it. Overall the gig is pretty enjoyable even though it is obvious that John is having some trouble with his voice. You can hear him say, "I can't do it" after "Holidays", apparently referring to "Submission" which was not played at this gig. These early gigs on the tour at least seem to find the band in pretty good spirits all around. DRAWBACKS The biggest would be the distorted vocals and the fact that they drop 'Submission". Other than that this is an OK gig. |
