| Note | This is a monster show. Danny's playing is on steroids here in his home state, no doubt playing it up for the friends/family members always in attendance at the Kansas shows. Improvs and extra force everywhere from Danny (and everybody else), particularly during Parabola, Third Eye and Triad. Adam is also in a rare improvisational mood, as he puts some extra frills in the solos. It's such a pleasure to listen to them play when they're on and in this type of mood. And even more so when the recording quality is this good. Full and beautifully balanced with rich lows, highs and everything in between. One of the better recordings from the 2002 tour. |
