Set 2 | Charlie Hunter (8-String Guitar)
Scott Amendola (Drums) * w/ Graham Connah Group Jamming Along From Venue's Main Stage, In An Adjoining Room ** w/ Marty On Trombone (From GC Group) ^ w/ Rob Sudduth On Tenor Sax ^^ - Charlie confronts a "heckler" in the audience. At first, he insists that the guy just go to the bar in the other room. Charlie then attempts to start up "Fables", but the guy charges back in the room, slurring his attempt at an apology. Charlie's comments are hilarious, but unfortunately not as audible as the drunk guy, who was very close to my mic. Charlie at first pointed out that there was an ambulance waiting outside (there was), and that they were there to take the guy to the looney bin. The situation peaks when Charlie finally suggests that the audience dogpile the joker, saying "Look you guys, I don't want to go for the dogpile and then you guys leave me hanging out there." |
