Note
"An amazing find. Unlike it's counterpart 'Jennings Farm Blues' this piece really is unquestionably worth finding. The quality of the recording is quite perfect. The cover incorrectly lists the date and venue for tracks 1-3, track 4 is from Polar Studios, tracks 5-6 from the Long Beach Arena 6/27/72. It is quite difficult to get a straight answer on where 'No Quarter' was recorded. It is listed in some books as Stargroves, some as Olympic, and some as Electric Ladyland, but the box set lists it as Island Studios. The version of 'That's The Way' is virtually indistinguishable from the finished mix. The 'Blues Medley' is the beginnings of 'Hats Off To Roy Harper', the version of 'Since I've Been Loving You' is actually a better mix than the finished version (in my humble opinion), the version of 'All My Love' is quite different and amusing, the Long Beach material is from the board, and the three versions of 'Not Quarter' are interesting to say the least. Get it if you can."
