| Tech Note | Yup, this is the whole show. Most versions of this show circulating are missing the opener, "Beauty Of My Dreams", and the first part of "Split Open And Melt". The quality of this DVD is really excellent. You can tell it was transferred from VHS, but I doubt anyone is going to get their hands on the master, so don't expect an upgrade. Oddly, Disc One includes almost the whole second set. It ends during "Loving Cup", which luckily starts Disc Two from the beginning. Kind of annoying, but could be worse. This was apparently done to leave room on Disc Two for Austin City Limits. That was nice and all, but there is already a separate DVD circulating with just ACL. Turns out, this version of ACL is much better quality. It was either recorded on a better medium, or the transfer was much better. This version also includes the opening of the show, and the interviews with the band at the end, missing on the other DVD. Now, what to do... I will be ripping and reauthoring this DVD with menus and song selection after I finish the 12-28-03 project, which I have been slacking on majorly. |
