Tech Note | From the info (Complete file on req)
I got the cassette tapes for this in trade from a guy in England in 1975 or 1976. I don't know the generation but I believe it is low. The main problem with the source tapes is that the left channel drops out several times in the show. This happens the worst during SOYCD and You've Got To Be Crazy. This was most likely due to a bad mic connection while making the original recording. I have never heard another version that doesn't have this same problem. I used the right channel for both when there was a loss of the left channel. I've also fixed a nagging little edit problem at about the 12:00 point of SOYCD. You probably won't be able to tell exactly where unless you compare different versions with this one very closely. SOYCD and Any Colour You Like were split between sides on the cassettes so I put them back together. There is a crackeling noise in a couple of places just before the cassette tape runs out. |
