Outstanding show w/ the National Orchestra. Beautiful classical rendition of 'Layla' (reprise) which segues into 'Crossroads' w/ the strings supporting it. A smokey blues version of 'Hard Times' & a beautiful laid back version of 'Old Love' once again w/ strings closes out side one. Side 2 has an outstanding 31 minute collaboration of Clapton's guitar and the symphony called 'Concerto For the Electric Guitar Movement #1 & #2. 'Layla' is outstanding. 'Sunshine Of Your Love' starts w/ a string intro and then explodes. Highly recommended. |
