NoteInfo for this is pretty slim and conflicting, but these seem to be the facts:

Rec'd at Jimi's apt., 59 W. 12th St., NYC with another guitarist (allegedly Taj Mahal, but maybe Jim McCarty); mostly instrumental jams using ambient microphone(s). Jimi's voice/vocals can be heard vaguely at times, but his voice is not miked.

1. Country Blues
2. Jam > Bolero
3. Room Full of Mirrors > Ezy Rider
4. Astro Man > Valleys of Neptune

Comment"TWO GUITARS ON A WEDNESDAY NIGHT" [aka: Jimi's Private Reels Vol.1]
Label: DANDELION (DL 129)

These great tunes were recorded by Jimi Hendrix himself with an unknown guitarist, some mention Taj Mahal, but this is dubious, as are the date & place of the performance. It could be Shokan House in mid/late 1969 or Jimi's New-York apartment on January 21, 1970.
