Comment | General Notes:
@ First appearance "since I used to sing in Harvard Square" - # Ray Charles Cover * Beatles Cover ( some annoying feedback, martin finally asks the monitor guy whats going on and it subsides...) $ With pieces of "Ain't Nobody", Chaka Khan cover Whole show is Martin solo Heating system was down at the Newport, it was about 30 degrees inside. That said, this show is sick. As always, Martin found a way to take adversity and turn it into something great - that something great manifested itself all night, but in one spot more than others - the first appearance of "Lay My Cards On The Table" in what Martin claims is about 8-10 years. The venue wouldnt let us tape from near the booth, despite the fact that they had several feet barricaded off around the board... so Jake decided to go stack-tape and it turned out great, you'll hear. - adam - http://www.tc.umn.edu/~brun0238/sexton.html |
