| Tech Note | The reason why the tape from the balcony was the best one is this. The taper's section was under the balcony and there was terrible echo there. The balcony had these concrete supports jutting out in front of the balcony per se, so the taper (who was dead center) could point the mic right at the band from a position of closer proximity to the stacks and without so much echo. It was LOUD too. |
