Note | This is one of the most outstanding performances from the Yessymphonic tour. Set in an intimate old (almost vaudvillian) theatre, the acoustics were perfect at this venue. This is what the entire Yessymphonic tour should have been: out of the big, echoey ampitheatres, and into these acoustically-friendly theatres. This is where the orchestra can really shine, and that night it truly did. Every orchestral instrument could be heard with remarkable clarity.
Yes is really on and loving the intimate setting. CTTE and AYAI are the absolute highlights. The only downside to this recording is the abundance of Chris' bass muddying things a bit. Otherwise, a must-have. |
