I'll take this over 'Yesshows' anyday. Man they were smoking here. I haven't found a Gates more powerful and breathtaking than the one captured this night. Particularly Alan's playing on it. He is on FIRE! Fills, imrov's everywhere. * This recording is Shaun Toole's remaster of the new recording unearthed by Sid S. from the master broadcast reels. So much more clear/vibrant/dynamic than the old 'Story of Relayer' boot of this show. Shaun's remaster includes (quotes verbatim): - dynamics processing to fatten up the mix and reduce dramatic volume changes - equalization - phase correction - restoring the bottom end - hand editing the WAV files to fix drop-outs and sudden volume changes - light editing to smooth out transitions between songs - edited out the gap in Ritual with no loss in music |
