| Note | Been trying to track this one down for years. Finally! And well worth the wait.
The audio recording to this show doesn't get close to doing this show justice. I've seen many, many Tool shows and filmed videos over the years, but I have NEVER seen Maynard do his puppet, shuck & dive freakout as much as he does that day. He goes berserk into the music. The visual interpretation he does leading up to the "I have found some kind of temporary sanity ..." in Prison Sex is, well ... you just should see it. Disturbing. The camera-work is nothing spectacular, but it is solid. There are no security ducks and he keeps the cam on the stage the entire time with close-ups of all-band members at various times throughout. Enthralling stuff. |
