NoteFinally, after a year or two of searching: the 2.23.97 DAT source!
The bass is a bit heavy at times, but other than that, it's as good as I thought it was going to be. Well-balanced, and it has that Aenima tour small to mid-sized venue feel to it that I so love.
Energetic Tool performance back in London for the 1st time in 3 years.
Events happen during Pushit to make it the highlight of the show ...
a) A crowd member gets loose, runs on stage, & starts to touch Maynard. MJK promptly body slams him with a martial arts move, restrains & sits on top him the rest of the song, all with the mic in one hand and never loses his place in the song!
b) Heitham Al-Sayed of the London-based band, "Senser," improvs an additional verse in the slow, middle section which sounds incredible. - Chills every time I hear it, and I think the song would have been even better if MJ would have used his melodic ideas here.
