NoteAfter driving 6 hours, - Front row center for me at this one.
The second show after 9/11. Weird vibe in the air. Hostile and subdued at the the same time. Very uneasy.
The flag-waving sheep were out in full force tonight as well ("Go USA ... Kill the brown Camel Jockeys.").

My most vivid memory of this show was the obnoxious shirtless guy smashed next to me, who felt the pressing need to prove he knew every lyric to every song by screaming them, and knew what they were going to play next because he had seen them 7 times on that tour already. I seriously couldn't hear Mayard's voice half the time because of this monkey-fuck. The entire band -had- to have heard him.

This aside, and now listening back to the show, Tool played with a lot of energy that night. MJ's voice was flying, and Pushit is gorgeous (of course, my experience of it was basically ruined by the ape).
Full DAT recording, with lots of crowd. Sounds like it was recorded from the floor.
