| Note | It took a long time for this show to surface, but it was well-worth the wait. This is one of the best Tool audience recordings I've heard, and rivals Mason's 11.1.01 for best sounding 2001 show. Spectacular quality and very little crowd.
Adam has some guitar problems throughout, particularly during Undertow where it completely cuts out at the very end while their trying to bring the song to a climax. Maynard's left to scream over a very thin bass & drums only. Doesn't sound so good. Tech Note: With the exception of very small inconsistencies in 3 of the transitions, my copy has smooth track transitions throughout, including Disc Two. Most all circulating copies have ticks in the transitions on the 2nd Disc, and static on a few of the songs. Not sure how they got there. |
