NoteExcellent recording and performance.
Tool is winding down their Lateralus tour, and they are sharp. - About as tight as they have ever been. Maynard's voice is still a bit weak (not much), but everyone else makes up for it. They are focused, and have lost the apathy present earlier in the '02 tour. The band were taping these final 6 shows, and you can really tell they are intent on giving a huge performance for the cameras and digital tapes rolling.

There is very little crowd on this recording. The band is in your face, and out front in the sound field. It will blow you away if you let it (an effect, I believe, of standing in front of the stacks). Justin fans will love this one: the bass is represented very well. It captures the drums and bass on Third Eye to perfection.
Jeff really did an outstanding job on this recording.
