I've heard a lot of Blackfoot recordings, and this is my favorite. Great FM sound, good mix, tight performance, and a slightly disoriented grandpa Shorty Medlocke.
I did this transfer myself from the original tape I made in 1981. I have applied light noise cancellation in Cool Edit Pro, and otherwise did minimal editing. I removed the announcer in the middle of the show, and tried to cover the tape flip in "Road Fever" as best as possible. The announcer's closing comments are optional, but I added them in case people find that stuff part of the history of it.
