Note | My first Phish concert in 3 years. I had high expectations and was let down. I kept waiting for the magic to happen (it happened the next night) and it never did. Sort of like a plane taxiing down a runway but never taking off. The majority of the show is a big pile of stinking aimless noodling which never developed further or gained in intensity. And the vocals are off-key and juvenile-sounding. I highly recommend 7-31-03 the next night which blows 7-30-03 away. |
