Note | A great concert in the pouring rain. A thin audience, but that was a blessing - I got to see this one from the 5th row. Phil was in fine form and the band pulled some amazing segues and improvisations. Pride of Cucamonga was a pleasant and unexpected surprise. The only downer was Warren Haynes, who should be relegated to playing slide solos only and silenced the rest of the time. And that song of his 'The Real Thing' is dumber than a box of rocks. |
