Note | Geoff Tate and the boys in full-Floyd form. I give the dudes credit: when all of the other hair bands were aping each other, these guys decided to add make-up and amped-up axes to later Pink Floyd. Unfortunately, the band members were intelligent to a fault. But at least they had talent unlike many of their contemporaries. (As an aside, I still rememeber an article in Hit Parader where Gene Simmons called them "Queersryche". Either way, they blew Kiss of the stage with their opening sets when they toured together (even if the fans weren't as appreciative) and they never became cheap shills. Kiss Coffin, anyone? What a tool.) Quality varies on this. Some of the audio sounds great, some merely decent. There's one small edit between Tracks 7 and 8. |
