Comment | On December 3rd, 1985, Marillion performed their first-ever Japanese concert at the Kosei Nenkin Hall in Osaka, which would be followed by 4 more shows : 2 each in Nagoya and Tokyo. The band were surprised by a number of things : the gigs started around 6.30 PM, the audiences (looking like everyone came straight from work) remained almost silent while they were playing, there was no alcohol to be sold or drunk, and at the show in Osaka someone in the audience actually fell asleep ! |
