| Comment | This is probably what the band presented to the label to show what they had produced for Soup. Really nice mastered recordings of most of the songs from that record, plus several gems that never surfaced anywhere else. Much of what's here is nearly identical to the record, except with the drum cues and some studio ambience left in. The most notable differences are 2X4, which seems to have been either partially or completely resung by Shannon, and Skinned, which is a completely different performance. Any fan of the band, and particularly their masterpiece Soup, will get a real thrill hearing this work-in-progress version. |
