B - OUTTAKES ON 'ACETATES' - not all able to be positively dated or detailed -

If Not For You - slow version with violin and pedal steel, NM outtake, unreleased (probably Emanuel Green (violin)- (no reference to pedal steel players found in documentation - Peter Drake played steel guitar on early Self Portrait sessions)

Went To See The Gypsy - with keyboard and bass, outtake (one of many of this ! ) - Could this in fact be the "alternate take to the version released on New Morning, from the Al Kooper compilation Rare & Well Done, Aug 2001" ? (ref. Searching For A Gem) or could it be from march '69 - Self Portrait sessions?)

Spanish Is The Loving Tongue -Solo piano version, New Morning out-take recorded at Columbia Studios, New York, 2 Jun 1970 - release authorised by Bob as B-side of 1971 Watching The River Flow single (also available on the 1978 Japanese/Australian 3LP/CD release Masterpieces ) ( The full-band version recorded during SelfPortrait sessions was released on CBS 'Dylan' album but NOT authorised by Bob!)

Tomorrow Is A Long Time - electric version - outtake, unreleased - - the only outakes listed from 69/70 are 4 versions from New Morning session 4 June '70 - (the version released on More Greatest Hits, 1971, is a live performance from New York Town Hall, 12 Apr 1963)
