Comment | *before they played Nightswimming, Michael Stipe made a dedication. Here's the quote:
"We're going to do another request and uh, this song is actually a sendoff uh, it's a request off of our website. Uh, a bunch of people here I think, actually asked us to perform this song. Uh, it's a sendoff to Jac and an homage of all her friends and her life. This is called Nightswimming." Following the song he said, "To Jac." "Jac" is Jaclyn Dierking, she was supposed to be at that show in the 2nd row. However, it ended up being the one month anniversary of her death. Jac was one of my best friends and I wanted people to know who the dedication was for. She was 25 years old and died too early, but her memory lives on in many of us and it lives on in this show.
