| Note | I was hanging out at L&L at UVM when Daryll said "you know Phish is playing in Barre tonight? Want to go?" "Yeah!" I said. So we drove down. Small brick public auditorium that could hold maybe 500 people or so. Got up near the front. Awesome first set. Went next door to the ice skating rink for a breather before returning for set 2. Killer second set. Everyone was smilin' and noddin' and the smell of ganga was subtle but unmistakably everywhere. Grippo got up and started honking along with the band (looked kinda lost during BBFCFM). Awesome show. Daryll wasn't heading back to Burlington, so I hitched a ride with another friend I spotted as we were shuffling out the front door. Cold night. Lots of stars. Another show, another memory. Life is too good!
