Note | This is commonly mislabeled as 9-16-70. In the book "In the Flesh" which is a comprehensive listing of every known show that Pink Floyd played, under this date it reads the following: "A live audience recording session for BBC Radio One in which the band performed "The Embryo, Fat Old Sun, Green is the Color, Careful With That Axe Eugene, If, and Atom Heart Mother (with the Philip Jones Brass Ensemble and the John Aldiss Choir, conducted by John aldiss) for Peels Sunday Concert. It was broadcast on 7-19-70 at 4:00pm and replayed on the Sounds of the Seventies on 7-22-70 at 6:00pm."
I'm willing to bet that 7-16-70 was in fact a Sunday. |
