Crippled Inside -- Give Peace a Chance -- Crippled Inside -- Uncle Albert (8.07) Tracks 1 to 4 is a jam that occured sometime between March to May 1974 at the Record Plant West or Burbank Studios in LA where Lennon was mixing and producing Harry Nilsson's new album Pussy Cats. It's the only recording that has surfaced of Paul and John making music together post-Beatles. The line-up is: Paul McCartney: vocals, drums Stevie Wonder: vocals, electric piano Harry Nilsson: vocals Jesse Ed Davis: guitar Bobby Keyes: saxophone It's nothing great musically, but is highlighted by Lennon coming close to losing it as nothing seems to be going right for him. Another interesting moment is Lennon offering Stevie a toot or a snort before the first track... The remaining tracks are from a jam October 9, 1971 |
