Tech Note | Dedicated to Rizzlers Equinox (EX 00-008/009) Re: conversion Not all of my SHNs come from silvers. Some are from discs I acquired in trade. All the people I trade with, though, use EAC secure and follow all the procedures of good copying...or else I don't trade with them. I can't say for sure that they're directly from the silvers, but because of the methods used to reproduce the discs, they're direct digital copies of the silvers. Thanks for your great posts grooves range-hood -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From reviews at Underground Uprising: This is a very popular soundboard show, and deserves its reputation as one of the greatest recordings. What separates this board tape from others is the depth it brings without overwhelming Page. It is still cut at the end of The Song Remains the Same and the beginning of The Rain Song. I would say that the entire show is a real highlight! With the exception of Glasgow (12/4/72), their playing was quite restrained on the 72/73 UK Winter tour. This show starts the ball rolling, as it were, which culminates in Germany in March. This is a show that everyone should own and should be listening to! Bonzo's drumming is superb, most notably in Rock And Roll, The Song Remains and Dancing Days. Plant sings very well and Page impresses in Black Dog, Song Remains and on the acoustic guitar on Bron-Y-Aur Stomp. As mentioned in the review, there are a few small cuts in the show. The end of the "The Song Remains the Same", the beginning of "The Rain Song", the end of "Stairway to Heaven", and the first few notes of "Whole Lotta Love" are missing. On the whole, this is a FANTASTIC show. The "Whole Lotta Love" medley is absolutely smokin' tonight! It's worth the price of admission, all by itself! |
