J-Card CommentMaster Source >> Reel to Reel >> cassette >> Digitised 01 - Sgt Pepper 02 - Fire 03 - Hey Joe 04 - Catfish Blues 05 - The Wind Cries Mary 06 - Purple Haze 07 - Spanish Castle Magic 08 - Wild Thing A nice gig, with the boys playing well. Something happens during The Wind Cries Mary, perhaps the mood's just not right, but Jimi wraps it up half way through and goes into Purple Haze. A decent recording, which may have been recorded in stereo, maybe the tape heads were a bit dirty, or the tape even shedding oxide - but there are audible differences between the two channels. There has been no EQ , denoising, or even glitch removal - this is a very raw digital transfer and to my ears sounds great, considering that - so, as usual it's provided "as is" - however, I have split it, to make it easier for downloading. I've had a "low gen" copy of this gig for a few year now and this is far better quality, in every way !! Someone will no doubt digitally enhance, eq, or denoise it ...... if you do and you're pleased with it ....... let me have a copy. Enjoy ........ public_saxophone@hotmail.com
