| Tech Note | Comment: The average quality is very good but you can hear differences when the source changes. This disc contains very interesting early demos, plus a number of old B-sides. The bonus tracks "I will follow" from Riot Show concert is definitely a plus, and now I miss the whole Riot Show concert... U2 "Children of the Revolution (The Early Demos)" CET Remaster March 31 - April 1, 2003 Conversion: SHN > mkwACT (0.97b1) > WAV > Sound Forge 6.0 > mkwACT (0.97b1) > SHN Track 07 - All in the Light -- better fade at end Track 09 - Touch - delete CD skip @ 1:20 Track 10 - Another Day - delete dead air near end Track 14 - Stories for Boys - fade at beginning, delete dead air at :30 Track 19 - I Will Follow - 5% speed increase Track 22 - Glad To See You - 14% speed decrease Almost all tracks have a few minor CD skips, static, etc. These were just some of the worst offenders. They should sound much cleaner now |
