Comment | This was a lineup of Chicago musicians assembled by drummer Jim Farmer to back Vince for 2 shows during the GD Family reunion weekend. There was a Friday night show at Thai Joe's in Milwaukee w/ about 400 out to show Vince some support, and the next show was this performance on Monday night in Chicago at Wise Fools Pub. Attendance was pretty sparse for this one, due to the long, hot weekend up at Alpine and it being a Monday night... There were many guests onstage in chicago, members of DSO, Mr. Blotto, Jack Straw...Pat Mallinger on sax, Fareed Haque sits in on something or other at some point. Fun night for the local musicians more than anything else, but a great time was had by all. Musicians: Vince Welnick: Keys, vocals Gary Gibula(The Schwag): Rhythm guitar, vocals Jim Farmer(Jack Straw): Drums Daon Hufnus(Field of the Blessed): Drums Mike Hazdra(formerly of DSO): Bass guitar Kris Nowak(Cornmeal): Lead guitar |
