The mics: 2xU89i (hypercard) + 2xCMC6MK4v + 2xKM143 > MOTU 896 > Mac iBook the Motu 896 provided preamp and A>D for all six channels. Firewire to the iBook Recording Software: Digital Performer 3 Post Production: KM143's converted into a MONO track to use for Emphisis Panning (Pan left or right to show emphisis on who is taking a lead at the moment). Conversion: Shn's of each set of the final mixdown expanded and SoundForge 6.0 used for fades at beginning and end of each set and each cd. 9 seconds overlap between cd2 and cd3 on each side. Tracked with CDWave and verified with shntool. Tracking: I see that there has been some discussion on tracking this show.. a lot of noodling throughout the show... so, when I heard the voice of the next song take, that's where I marked it... I love the noodles going into.. not just out of. :) Mike Notes: Set one recorded 24/44.1k. Set 2 recorded at 16/44.1k due to space limitations. |
