Comment | Providence, RI, on Monday night, a grieving city in the wake of a night club fire that killed nearly 100 people last month, and Bruce delivered another emotionally-charged show. "War" opened the show again, and Bruce played six "rockers" to open the show, including the first performance of "The Fuse" since last December. Patti wasn't at the show, and Bruce said she was home sick. "Bobby Jean" opened the encores, and Bruce dedicated to those who died in the night club fire. "Spirit in the Night" was performed in the post-"Sunny Day" spot, and it was done with the full band for the first time on the tour; Bruce performed the song on the piano by himself last October in Barcelona, a performance later released on the European single for "Lonesome Day." |
