Note | Despite the windy outdoor conditions, and sort of odd, mixed loud crowd, Tool brought an intensely focused performance to the Voodoo festival. Very little MJ talking, just moving seamlessly from song to song. That's how you know it's a good Tool show.
Pushit is tremendous; Danny and Adam gel perfectly in the solo and everybody is clicking tonight. The recording, IMO, is a bit better than 2 night before in San Antonio. The sound is more full and stage-focused. After a pack of screaming rednecks settle down, and despite a few patches of wind noise, it's an enjoyable recording. |
