It was a sold-out show and everyone in attendance was so amazingly quiet during the songs, but their applause after each of them was incredible and sincere. Ryan thanked everybody in the audience many times. He was himself-- and he seemed truly happy, though he was singing "songs to slash your wrists by"... he talked, told stories, and was funny and honest.

He played a set of such beautiful songs; going between his acoustic, steel and electric guitars and his piano. He was sometimes accompanied by Ruth and Sara (from London) who played violin, cello, piano and a little tambourine.

Ryan first came out to accompany "Tegan and Sara" who opened for him, on some of their songs. (Not the Sara mentioned above.) Tegan and Sara are twin sisters from Vancouver, Canada, who write songs, sing and play guitars. They were awesome.

Then Ryan played his 2 hour set and it was a spellbinding and magical time to behold. Here is the list of songs, in order, that he performed tonight.
