Comment | Band:
Robert Walter (hammond organ) Brian Jordan (guitar) Eric McFadden (guitar) Rob Derhak (bass guitar) Alan Hertz (drums) Other guests JJ Grey (vocals) ? - Trumpet Cecil Daniels - (electric saxophone) ?Sean Lang (sp?) - guitar This show was unrehearsed, and the artists were flown in for a first time appearance. An announcement was made by the band that they hoped to perform together again. This was an afterparty show, following Widespread Panic's performance 11/16/02 in Memphis. The Powerjam set actually did not begin until 1:30a.m., 11/17/02. Correction: This was an afterparty show, following *FRIDAY's* Widespread Panic's performance 11/15/02 in Memphis. The Powerjam set actually did not begin until 1:30a.m., 11/16/02. I know the former date is wrong because it was my birthday weekend and I remember it well. This was late Friday night/early Saturday morning. I saw Carlos Washington & Giant People on Saturday night, Widespread Panic after party again, which was my birthday November 16, 2002. Cecil Daniels and Brian Jordan sat in with Giant People that night, as well as members of Ray's Music Exchange, who opened for Giant People that night. I don't know if it would be desirable to change the show date to 11/15/02, or keep it as is because technically, it was performed early morning of 11/16/02. JEF |
