Note | From KSAN. Brilliant performance (as usual). Without question, Steve had one of the cleanest voices in folk/rock; however, his guitar playing, often overlooked, was close to great. The next time you listen to a Steve show, focus on what he does with that six-string thing. A marvel. On this great-sounding show, check out the old coot (Melvina Reynolds) who joins Steve for a song. Hearing the "F" word come out of her mouth not once but twice was a little shocking (but funny -- I think old people cussing is a riot). In addition to that old bird, Jethro Burns comes out for some excellent picking. Just a nice, sweet show. |
