| Note | Acoustic guitars, strumming violinists (or is that Nick Rhodes making all that melody?), and a stellar mix of old and new -- almost the dream of every kid who was in 8th Grade in 1983. I miss the fiery power of Andy Taylor's guitar, but this is still a fun trip to the days when Simon LeBon wore puffy shirts and knickers and danced around in the "Planet Earth" vid. Too bad he misses those high notes at the end of "Ordinary World" not once, not twice, but four times. So we can keep the fantasy going, we'll pin that mess on a back-up singer. Good audio. |
