Note | I received this under a different date (06.13.73) but the setlist offered in the database is the same as what I have (and I've also seen this as a '72 show, not '73). Whatever the case, there's the tiniest of signal noise and slight transition hiccups between tracks. T3 fades to right channel only for :02 seconds and there's some minor distortion from time to time. Outside of all that, this should be Grade A funk; however, it sounds a little lite to me, almost as if it's missing that punch or kick. Everytime I listen to this, I feel I should be "gettin' my groove on" but instead, I'm reaching for a Sly and the Family Stone show. |
