Thanks to Botte here's his translation of the first track:- "What you now hear are the recordings from Jackson Browne made 12 may 72 in the program VPRO on friday. In this hour we are going to listen recordings made 4,5 years later, in the same place: VPRO radio studio. Recorded 8 dec this year (76?). In this place played Warren Zevon and Jackson Browne. I probably don't have to tell to listeners of this program who they are. Two people who sing much over their californioan life. Jackson Browne is well known with four Lp's. This was an unique "houseroomconcert" (little studio). Both gentlemen never played before in this way. They both sing tracks from their repertoire. Also they sing duets. It was sad that David Lindley ,sideman for Jackson Browne, was not there. There were some problems with his health I believe, but anyway it was a special. So Jackson Browne and Warren Zevon this hour. You will hear 12 tracks, we start with the first half (of the concert), 3 tracks Jackson Brown: These Days, Cocaine, Linda Paloma. Following a duet sung by both gentlemen, Mohammed's Radio. After that two tracks by Warren Zevon, Frank and Jesse James & Hasten Down the Wind. JB and WZ. |
