Note | Oh, bubba. I'm a huge Francis Albert fan, but by '77, this old Dean-o-Frankie schtick was tired. Granted, they weren't running around the country doing this act every night in the 70s, and this show demonstrates why that wouldn't have been a good idea. Dean sounds like the alcohol finally caught up to him and Frank obviously was losing that sweet voice of his. I suppose for nostalgia purposes this was okay, but it can be painful. At least they didn't break-out their dated and offensive Sammy jokes. |
