NoteThese two files are the original .wav files converted from the analog reel recording of an FM broadcast. Original reel recorded on Revox A77 or Teac X-7mkII @ 3.75 ips. Broadcast was a "Best of Saturday Night UnConcert" from WXRT in Chicago, probably in the early 80's. The broadcast was selected parts of 8-13-75. Transfer to .wav was in January, 2002, with playback on the Teac X-7, and A-to-D through a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz soundcard into Cool Edit Pro, generating 32 bit samples from the original 16 bit A-to-D.
All of this and more is commercially available as One From the Vault. It is better sound than this, and more material. Go buy it.
